“This podcast is so well done! It’s full of captivating interviews with those involved with the cases at the time; the victims, witnesses, jurors, cops, & reporter Nancy Hixt, herself. Being from the States, I hadn’t heard of most of the cases covered & it’s both fascinating & heartbreaking. Crime Beat really touches upon all the emotions involved in covering these cases, & does it with class & sincerity. It also asks questions about how the laws in Canada might be amended, usually with the safety & wellbeing of victims in mind. Truly one of the best podcasts out there! Can’t wait for the next season!”
