“Love the show, Nicola. There’s surely no greater authority on the Kinahan cartel and the show has thoroughly explored the group’s rise and fall. The podcast specialises on Ireland’s drugs scene which, as a true crime fan, I find compelling. My one caveat is that Nicola seldom (ever?) debates the elephant in the room with her guests: the need to decriminalise and regulate drugs. Numerous times guests berate the status quo but there seems to be a reluctance to make the leap to explore a harm reduction model. Please get on the show experts like Neil Woods and those who don’t simply blame the end users and the gangs. The War on Drugs has failed abysmally - time to consider alternatives. Keep up the good work, Nicola.”
