Wonderful!
This incredible man hosts a podcast on how mainstream-genre music instigates or reflects social change. For a lot of us, music is irresistible - and we cannot help ourselves but spend plenty of time with it. It might be a good idea to occasionally question what is it that our ‘sound diet’ includes - what kind of idea deeds the music we are drawn to plants within us. Stars of today’s music scene exist in a space between political leaders and those whose name does not ring a bell; some of them more aware than others of their soft power. In the sea of performers who have small villages optimizing their media presence in order to generate better revenue, rare are those who take their further-reaching voices to contribute to or celebrate human accomplishment in creating a better, kinder, more charitable society.

I’ve always been a fan of Hozier and when I saw that this podcast launched it just made sense that it would come to be! These discussions are so needed and the show itself has a high quality production. Can’t wait for more!
