Words can’t express how much I needed Emma and her podcast in my working life. Since the pandemic, I have been feeling many things, but overworked and undervalued sums up the vast majority. Ctrl Alt Delete has provided a space for my feelings to be validated, and it has been a powerhouse of...Read full review »

Emma has such a wonderful interviewing style and lovely voice to listen to. I just listened to the episode with Elizabeth Day and found it SO inspiring. The bit about how Gwyneth Paltrow can be a ‘trigger’ for some people and how our success can make people ‘mute’ us because it’s ‘too much’ for...Read full review »

I find Emma to be fawning and agreeable in every single episode of this podcast. Her questions are poorly constructed and has no natural follow up to what she has just asked about. My favourite podcasts are the ones where you get an insight into the host and form a relationship with them as you...Read full review »

Thank you so much for this episode - so relevant and helpful. What you both discuss relates to to my recent work-based, mini ‘existential crisis’. I’m a super average underachiever who is in no way ready to become self employed or have a side hustle but who just needs to make the day to day as...Read full review »

Emma has a brilliant array of guests and I like her taste! But I feel like she spends half the podcast guest pleasing etc. and the rest on sadly quite surface level questions/observations. Yes it’s an informal style, and a chat, but could the charm offensive be replaced with more considered and...Read full review »

It’s hard to write anything original about just how good this show is, but here goes ... It’s the equivalent of some form healthy fine dining food. After each episode you’ll feel re invigorated and re energised to tackle the world in front of you If I could give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I would.

The interviews are great, but the guests are interrupted, often MID-SENTENCE, by lengthy ad breaks. Sure, nothing comes for free, but can’t the ads at least be placed at a natural break in the conversation?

Like many people this year I’ve read lots of self help books and have listened to podcasts and audiobooks galore. In Anna Newton’s book An Edited Life she recommends Emma’s podcast and first book.
