“Here’s the thing, how they structure the story can keep you hooked. It was a good way to tell a story. But, as with all stories, they come at from a biased perspective.
SPOILERS
1. The 911 call cannot be disputed. Dylan and Whitley sound sincere. Unless they are highly trained actors, Dylan’s in the moment actions comes from a person who just experienced trauma. It is traumatic to find a person you care about dead. Whitley sounds distraught.
2. The first investigator concluded it was suicide. This is not brought up until the next to last episode. It’s hinted that there was an investigator at first hired but you don’t learn their results until the 14th episode.
3. The series goes along with some conspiracy theory that 4 people were involved in Christian’s death. They bleep out the name of the other 2 people. Then once the 4,000 PAGE case file is released, they stop on that theory. The final episode is all about “police corruption” when they didn’t get the results they wanted. They literally buried the arguments that this was a suicide.
Very biased podcast, the evidence presented is from Christian’s family perspective. No other perspective is considered.”
