“This show was great when it was Ashley and Cody. Then one day they were gone with promises of new episodes from Disocovery. Months later we got our taste of the new hosts and I’m not impressed.
The new hosts are trying to hard to be Ashley and Cody in the preview episode. Their banter, wordplay, and jokes feel forced. Cody and Ashley had a natural cohost chemistry going back and forth and it can’t be replicated by two new hosts trying to follow their forum ups. This felt like someone made a script based off what they thought Ashley and Cody would say and gave it to two people with instructions to try and be a poor man’s copy of them.
If Discovery really wants to keep this podcast they need to let these hosts do their own thing. Having them copy and sound like Cody and Ashley is poor formula for retaining listeners who spent hours listening to Cody and Ashley.
I’m pretty sure the writing is on the wall this this once great podcast is now a shadow of itself. Such a bummer to see from a once quality show.”
