Description
On this week’s Cut to the Race Podcast, Oli is joined by Abby, James M and Sam for their review of the Singapore Grand Prix. Formula One returns to the Marina Bay circuit in Singapore for the first time since 2019, which could’ve been the championship decider. The whole weekend had mixed conditions with a lot of rain, which provided for some interesting on-track sessions. The panel touched on the free practice sessions, and the cost-cap debacle that was the talk of the weekend, before diving into Qualifying. Qualifying certainly had drama in Q3 for Max Verstappen, and the panel discuss his P8 finish, Charles Leclerc’s pole position and key highlights of the session. The race was a tale of two halves with more drama further into the Grand Prix. The quartet talk about key highlights including the multiple safety cars and retirements, Perez’s phenomenal drive, Verstappen and Hamilton not quite being up to par and some stand-out performances from midfield teams.
