This podcast is off to a great start but needs some improvement
You both have some great topics but it feels like it’s brushed over very quickly and/or not well researched. This could potentially be problematic because serious topics like mental health on ep 7 require proper content warnings, proper resources and if you are going to give advice, it’s not enough to say “by the way, we have no idea what we’re talking about”. For example when Moya opens up about whether therapy was right for her, Lauren says “maybe it isn’t right for her at the moment” and yet Moya later says she has panic attacks about uni and YouTube which is valid for therapy. Content warnings are given after the fact and seems to not be taken seriously: when Moya talks about 13 reasons why. Further mentioning concepts like “diet culture”, “narssicistic”, “panic attacks” and “depression” without explaining it is a missed opportunity. Overall this podcast seems like a private chat between two people but for a podcast it would be better to have more structure and research.
