“The dad totally steamrolls the son. He says racist statements, belittles his family. I thought it would be a great way to help me understand where my parents were coming from in their conservative views listening to a debate about differing opinions but the dad is a caricature of what you would expect from a Florida Trump supporter. He even admits his ideas don’t have to make sense, but that’s how he feels. It isn’t a conversation it’s hearing the dad rant and the son not being educated enough on the topics to have an opposing viewpoint. It became too difficult to stomach. I can hear him after reading this review: “snowflake liberal, that’s what wrong with this nation” :::eyeroll:::”
