Let me break it down for you newbies: Replay to the ones you’ve heard before to fall asleep. Save the fresh ones for the hour before ‘nigh nigh time’ for a sweet story and some giggles in the dark. Must use earbuds. I cranked up the volume on my phone in an effort to get my husband in on my...Read full review »

I was calculating an appropriate time to host a zoom meeting with a group spread across the States, including Hawaii, and got pulled down that rabbit hole of time zones. Did you know that December 30, 2011 does not exist in Samoa? And that there is a 25 time difference between Samoa and...Read full review »

I’ve missed new mumbles. I continue recycling the old ones and yes, I also let you mumble me to sleep during naps. Sleep Time Mumbles is my favorite and the standard by which I compare all other sleep inducing podcasts. Need I say, no one compares.

Dan Bain, where are you?? Please come back and melodically mumble me to sleep. I need more of your stories which are by far my favorite way to be gently mumbled to slumberland.

I have had difficulty getting to sleep for years. I have tried many different podcasts to help me. Some of them work for awhile, but eventually they all lose their power and simply become annoying. Dan Bain, you are different! Your stories are so diverse and so humorous that I fall asleep with a...Read full review »

I would love if you could read a technical manual, like maybe for some outdated technology. Radiohead is my favorite band. Can’t wait to hear your rendition of A Moon Shaped Pool

This is my go to when I can’t sleep. Personally I don’t think the chimes are to bothersome. Keep the sleepy time mumbles coming!

At first I didn’t really like this podcast. Thought it was weird. Then after listening a while I found myself laughing out loud and sending bits to my friends. Now they think I’m weird when I send them episodes. I listen many times to fall asleep and it always works. My favorite episode is cruel...Read full review »

There’s lots of bedtime stories podcasts out there, but I am very picky. I want whispering, but also someone who speaks slowly and deliberately, and without sibilant sounds or tongue clicking. I fell asleep to Dan’s babbling last night, and I have no idea what he was talking about.

You have such a sexy brain. You excite me then put me to sleep. Thank you Beloved. Is it even possible to noose an octopus? And is your theatre stage actually in a real church?

Five golden stars and the Nobel Peace Prize, if it were mine to give. Knowing the Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde impact of sleep/no sleep, if you scale what Dan Bain is doing, it’s not less than saving the world. PS Dan, if you’d reconsider the xylophone notes, I’d be even more grateful. They can...Read full review »

Something about the host’s voice slows my heart rate down to a quiet trickle. The best in its class of mind-quieting podcasts.

Really good: great voice, calming and actually slow. Very sleep inducing. Not good: Chimes at beginning. Worse: Chimes at end. What kind of cruelty is this? I actually get to sleep and then you wake me up? When I heard chimes at beginning, thought ok I can never put this on repeat all night, but...Read full review »

So I have been listening to podcasts A LOT. Anyway, now I’m used to having someone talking in my ears (besides kids) at all times and I can’t sleep with out it 🤣 and so last night I had to think of something to do because I didn’t want to listen to my favorite podcasts and miss half of it because...Read full review »

It’s sleep, it’s therapy, it’s even funny😂 Seems to do the job very well and I recommend you Dan everywhere. The Apology (in November) is magic. 🕳

I suffer from chronic headaches. Listening to Dan Bain’s Sleepy Time Mumble miraculously cured my headache. Also I fell asleep. Thanks Dan Bain’s sleepy time mumbles!

Really meditative voice and nicely paced so you can drift off without crime or other horrors). Just breathe and sleep.

I wish I could review this podcast but every time I try to listen to it I fall asleep and can’t make it to the end. 10/10 would recommend.
