“What a wonderful storyteller! For anyone who enjoys history, this is a phenomenal podcast and I am addicted. I have gorged myself on the the tone and intensity of the the historic accounts of everything from the Persian empire to the Gaul tribes to the WWII ‘Samurai’. I can’t get enough of the in-depth research and colorful commentary of how cultures have evolved, reigned and fallen. No documentary, article or book has captured my interest so completely. My only criticism is that I wish more content was available.”

“absolutely fascinating. However, Dan, if you read this, my suggestion for improvement would be to lose the contrived voices when quoting historical figures. It is distracting; your normal voice is more passionate and much more preferable.”
