Good, but…
…what is wrong with Dan Snows voice?? Love history and, although this pod does have a tendency towards woke virtue signalling (highly irritating), presents many fascinating topics with knowledgeable guests. Great stuff. However, Dan’s intro (just him talking) can go on for up to ten minutes (as he plugs his HH, tv channel, and whatever the advertiser of the week is) and then he regularly interrupts his guests…with a voice that sounds likes he’s had his jaw wired shut, or he’s got cotton wool or marbles in his mouth. It’s awful and I can’t get passed it. Therefore if he talks too much during a cast, then I have to turn off regardless of subject. Sad but it’s only possible to listen to so much mush-mouth…maybe HH could be presented by someone else?

I really enjoy this podcast. You get a taste of everything. Dan has a real appreciation and feeling for the 1st world war (all topics really) and manages to interview so really incredible experts in their fields.

Podcasts are what I listen to, to workout with, do...Read full review »
