Horrible editing and horribly fake stories
I downloaded this podcast today because as a truck driver the trucker compilation got my attention. I listened to the episode and can say with full confidence that not one of those stories was submitted by someone familiar with trucking. Laws and regulations were misstated, simple routes weren’t even close, there was even a crazy guy in the early 80’s that liked to look at a webpage, in the early 80’s! There’s a whole lot of trucker stereotypes put in to play that anyone that knows the industry knows are false. Nice try though. The kicker though, listening to that entire episode and the horrible editing, stories that seem to completely skip ahead and miss a part, or parts that repeat just shows that it wasn’t listened to before being posted. If there was something that said this was merely fiction, that would be fine. To represent these stories as listener submitted takes and/or experiences is ridiculous.
