“I really wanted to like this podcast. I was a Redcoat, earned my bachelor's from UGA, and I'm a diehard UGA fan. I also listen to a lot of podcasts and I'm impressed that someone (1) loves the Dawgs enough to produce a daily podcast and (2) can maintain that kind of output. My main problem with DawgNation Daily is that it's mostly the host talking for long stretches. It feels a lot like monologuing. I don't think this is a knock on the host, but a criticism of the decision to do a daily podcast. There just doesn't seem to be enough time to produce more substantive content. Arranging interviews takes time. Writing and recording interesting pieces takes time.
