Thanks ladies. I so enjoyed all episodes. As a Melbourne gal, it was wonderful knowing the locations you told stories of, but everyone would enjoy this podcast. Especially loved all the background research the girls performed to build the stories and era they spoke of. Look forward to Season 2 !!!

I'm not sure how I stumbled on this hidden jewel, but I'm sure glad I did. It is a amazingly well researched and presented podcast. As an American, I sadly have no knowledge of Australia beyond kangaroos, koalas and sharks. Ok, I know more than that, but certainly nothing about their...Read full review »

It is just my luck, I suppose, that I would discover this series just as the last one was being aired. It was very well done and particularly interesting to me as I had just finished reviewing Craig Nelson's "Pearl Harbour" for our local online news site. I liked the way that the story of these...Read full review »

I really loved this podcast and can't wait for the next season. The stories are really well researched and told with flair, and I liked the conversations the two presenters have in each episode. What's best is that it's local and tells local stories about places I know well. Thanks for a great...Read full review »

Really enjoyed Season 1 of Dead and Buried. Opened my eyes to the history of places I walk past every day. Fascinating stories, great hosts and fabulous guests. Keep up the good work and really hoping there’s a ‘Season 2’ to come.

What a fascinating take on Melbourne's underbelly over the course of the last century. This podcast immediately transfixes you with its stellar production values, constantly conjuring up images of the people and places mentioned throughout the narrative all thanks to its sharp editing.

Only lasted half an episode. The hosts laugh and snigger at really weird and inappropriate times! Much better crime podcasts out there. Don't bother with this one.

I'm really happy I found this podcast. After listening to other history podcasts which focus on US and European history, it's really great to hear local Aussie history told and researched by Australians. I'm finding out things I never thought about or had even heard about previously! Will...Read full review »
