I just recently found this podcast and I can’t get enough. When I was a young boy, just getting to know baseball from what my dad taught me and collecting baseball cards, I was always drawn to the tragic stories that were part of the fabric of the game. This podcast tells these stories and...Read full review »

Great and interesting info! Unfortunately it’s difficult to listen to. Very slow, drawn out, seems to lack focus.

Love the stories! Great subject matter but in the more recent episodes the narration has lots of “uummm” and “aannddd” like the guy is distracted. Wish it would be tightened up!

Good shows but the delivery is of such he acts as though he’s falling asleep or having trouble focusing on what he’s trying to narrate.

I thought this podcast was about stories in baseball and not bashing Cubs fans. A classless act.

I really like the podcast and have listened from the beginning. I realize that a lot of people complain about the backstory but personally I'd love to hear more detail. Every episode seems to just be the talking points that are on Wikipedia for that individual. Darrell Porter is a great...Read full review »

I enjoyed listening to the podcasts. I like the the players that you may have heard of and those you didn’t. My only complaint is the meandering of a backstory. Hosts are very knowledgeable. Enjoy listening.

It's needed for sure, but latest episodes host slowly goes through every miniscual detail from the past of individual and often menaders into other facts not remotely connenected. Bogs down into tiresome monotone delivery. Eventually gets to the main theme more then half way into podcast.Read full review »

Super interesting way to look at the history of baseball, podcast isn’t just about the death of the player it’s also about the game at that time, the situation, and other relevant things from that time period. Also extremely funny at times.

Ew, Tim your voice is not one for podcasting or radio.. Clear your throat, get some lozenges, drink some hot tea or something. Also, your intro is GROSS when you first open your mouth that smacking your lips sound is so offputting, as is all the UH UM UHs. NO NO NO.
