“I am not a huge podcast person, I’ve only listened to a few here and there because I find most of them hard to get into. But not Dead Meat! Chelsea and James are so good at talking seriously about horror movies and the horror genre, while keeping it extremely engaging and interesting. I am always impressed on their research (of course, I think Chelsea does most of the podcast research!) One important thing for me is that this podcast is not pretentious in the slightest. You never get the sense that you’re being talked down to or lectured to, it feels like a casual yet engaging conversation with friends. I have been a huge fan of the Kill Count videos on youtube for years and have just recently started binging this podcast, and it’s been great. 100% recommend for any fan of horror, even if you haven’t seen a ton of it!
