“They Live”
1988 sci- fi movie, based on 1963 short story, “Eight O’clock in the Morning “. Unamed drifter discovers through special sunglasses that ruling class are aliens ( who look like lizard people) concealing their appearance and manipulating people to consume, breed, and conform to status quo via subliminal messages.... This was a real movie, I love that stuff! When you were talking about the Q thing yesterday, the absurdity, that no one could even write that craziness, they did. I think these people just threw a lot of it out there to see how much people would follow, like a joke...and they did! Kind of like the ex president when he started... saying crazy horrible things, each day worse than before, and he was still taken seriously.. even though he thought it was a joke himself... until he didn’t. People. So hard to understand how people, Americans, can think so differently from each other. They Live.

Nicolle does a great job. In terms of the podcast, I wish they could get the show up as fast as other msnbc shows. Friday is missing—and Monday is missing so far.

Of all the msnbc (and other) news programs and podcasts I’ve been tuning into - deadline with Nicole Wallace is on my daily “must” list. Her moderating style unpacks and teases out the events and policies she covers with witty precision. She listens. It’s refreshing.
