I’m addicted to this real life “who don it” case but my lord is the production value horrible..anytime a recording is played or the use a voice changer it becomes nearly impossible to understand ANYTHING being said!

Excellent podcast. I am hooked on the Barry and Honey Sherman murders and hope that someday soon their murderers will be brought to Justice. I have my suspicions as to who hired the hit as do most who follow this. I hope he’s caught. And soon.

If this case ever gets solved it will be because of The Star and Kevin.

Stellar reporting. Pray that this case sees some resolution.

Mr. Donovan is an excellent writer. Im obsessed with this case and hope their killers are found.

Really enjoyed the book as well.

I found myself so disinterested in this podcast. I normally enjoy all things true crime, but the progression from episode to episode seemed to be very minimal. It did not need 8 episodes to basically tell nothing.

Wondering why in episode 1 you give a physical description of the realtor. That sticks out like a sore thumb.

I really liked this podcast. I wish there were more episodes.

This podcast is fascinating because it is superbly written, informative, and suspenseful. I think things should be sealed…maybe…but I am loving finding out what is being pealed back as the sealing is being exposed.

I just got the notification that the docuseries is now available on Crave. I can’t wait to watch that!

I am using Apple to listen to this podcast. Episode six even though it’s been out for weeks is still subscriber. Only, episode eight won’t even load something is fishy here not sure what. Otherwise, really like the show.

The son did it , seems obvious , doesn’t it

I’ve heard about this sorry before but this podcast goes into so much more detail. It’s fascinating! Only challenge is that some of the audio is so hard to hear (ex: season 2 episode 5) and you wind up missing parts of the story.

Great story and excellent pacing. Lookin g forward to hearing more about this!

This podcast could be so great, but they wait way too long between episodes and wanna upsell you to the trauma star app there’s no fluidity and I’ve lost interest. You could do better.

Tru crime and the 1%. Frivolous, pointless.

I’m only in season 1, episode 4 so this may be explained later, but— in the interview with Megan she states that Nathaniel “collapsed,” but later refers to “the accident” twice. So, why call it an accident if she thought he just passed out?

I get it, the police screwed up and the Sherman’s were people who like others to know they were rich but humble. After 5 episodes, can we get to something else? And with a $10 million reward and a still unsolved crime, I’m thinking it’s not a knucklehead from the street. Who knows, maybe the...Read full review »

I really enjoyed this. The Toronto Star has covered the case for years and this podcast had great information.

Another aimless “investigative” true crime podcast that lacks a sense of cohesion. This season devoted to the Sherman murders was nothing but a bunch of episodes filled with speculation, tangents, rambling interviews only to abruptly end at episode 9. Really disappointed.

His son did it.

Really straight to the point podcast. Super easy to listen to with little commercial interruptions. I work 12 hour shifts and find myself binging podcasts that draw me in. This one is a 5 star keep up the good work.
Zywqoppppppp via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 05/24/23
First two episodes are very good because they focus on the investigation. But… like all try crime podcast they spend 10 episodes talking to the cousin’s cousin, and you learn nothing new

Poorly done. The CBC/Lionsgate podcast covers this story far better.

Have been listening to S2 as the episodes come out - the schedule has been erratic and some episodes were fillers. So it’s a bit meandering with some eps being much better than others. I’m currently listening to S1 - Kevin seems quite biased against the police and never substantiates it. It just...Read full review »

Kevin Donovan has well earned his reputation as one of Canada’s top investigative journalists. A difficult story as it’s ongoing and Canadian law enforcement are notoriously tight lipped but he’s done an incredible job at digging out new information, showing where the police went wrong and...Read full review »

I understand subscription fees for future episodes but this roll out has been a mess. Episodes come out in subscription and stay that way before future episodes of snipets are released . Good podcast - horrible release

I’ve listened to both seasons, and I am enthralled with Kevin Donovan’s storytelling and reporting. I am going to find everything he’s ever done, and when I finish going through it all, I’ll probably become one of those weird psychofans that needs a bit better grip on life. That’s how good this...Read full review »

I am really enjoying the first couple wondering. Some really unique storytelling for example the interview with the Urbex Man… Like the other commentator I do love the podcast and signed up for the subscription; well worth the money; thanks Kevin and the Toronto Star;

This podcast is amazing!! So well done. I am so caught up in the craziness of these murders. I've read Kevin Donovan's book as well. Each episode I feel as though "omg maybe it's that person who committed these crimes". Lots to think about after listening to each episode....Read full review »

Do the Lindsay Buziak case! I was quite honestly tired of the Sherman case, I have heard it so many times before! I only listened because I had run out of podcasts to listen to. WORTH THE SUBSCRIPTION! ♥️ people complaining about the small fee… it’s less than a coffee at Starbucks…. Buck up and pay. Mr. Donovan is an AMAZING journalist. I’d pay more just to listen to his work. Well done.

I remember this case when it took place. These innocent people were murdered and staged like stuffed animals on a bed. There is no way I am the only one who clearly sees who the murderer is. The podcast is decent for what I could listen too. The massive amount of subscription episodes have made me simply unfollow. If anything really substantial happens with the case I will hear about if for free elsewhere.

You guys, honestly. WHY is it not OBVIOUS to EVERYONE that the babysitter either shoot or hit or hurt that baby OR she was negligent and allowed him to get hurt in some way while under her care.
