Generally good
I enjoy Death, Sex, and Money most of the time. Anna has a great voice and wonderful style. I just finished the episodeThe children of Heart Mountain. This piece is heavily slanted to the Japanese perspective. No doubt they were done wrong, but did Anna forget what was going on at the time? The US was fighting for its existence. The woman who spoke at the end was surprised how nobody wanted to talk to her when she got back? Does she know how many Americans died in the Pacific? Does she know the atrocities that occurred in Japanese POW camps? Heart Mountain is sad, but take a look at what Japan did to Americans in its POW camps and you soon see that Heart Mountain was not do bad. That’s my problem with this piece, Anna wants to slam Uncle Sam, but she forgets the real tragedy in this story what the Japanese Empire did the people in its control during the war.

Great stories that let you peek into the lives of others. You will find parallels in your own life in every story.

Death, Sex & Money is a wonderful! I'm rarely a repeat listener/watcher but some of the eposides have been so good that I've listened twice. Anna has a great voice and she asks questions that I want to know the answers to. Definitely worth my time.Read full review »
