I have just recently started listening and have spent weeks binging! So so amazing to hear it from the defense side. Great host, great team, fabulous show!

Bob and his trash wife love to gush over double child murderer Richard Allen. They have lost their credibility and are very biased. When the Delphi case is over Bob will be proven to not only be wrong but to be a nasty little troll as well.

… and I’ve been addicted to them for 10 years now. Bob Motta is a smart, well-informed, fearless voice, unafraid to call out official failures and malfeasance. The research and other interviews are diligent and thorough, and he does an excellent job explaining and contextualizing the information.

I see your streams on YouTube of the actual trial— for those of us with day jobs and who appreciate Alison’s input would love a recap or even streaming in podcast form with your commentary. I try to stream while at work— best coverage with you and jay; add some levity/humor to a horrific case....Read full review »

Have listened from day one!

I really enjoyed hearing Bob’s coverage of previous cases and his defense side perspective but he’s gone off the rails with Delphi. I previously left a five star rating but have reconsidered.

I’ve listened to dozens of episodes and was enjoying it until the defense for Richard Allen started their histrionics. I can’t take Bob seriously when he’s fanboying over Baldwin and Rozzi. Their tactics may be legal (maybe) but I find them deeply unethical and duplicitous. The prosecution and...Read full review »

Unique angle into this story. Lots of thoroughly researched details. Great interviews.

Started strong but is now a dumping ground for out of date rambling audio from YouTube shows. Great voice. Hit and miss content. Absolute shambles of a release schedule. Loved the Gacy series. Loved the early episodes on other cases. Loved the early collaborations. Garcia was good until it got to...Read full review »

I am literally obsessed - but if you can’t give an entire ear to your listen- you’re missing out on A LOT! Adore your horrible accents and “voices”Motta 🤣 podcast gives a whole new meaning to “deep dive” and I’m grateful for everything I’ve learned and the objective presentation… duly noted Sir-...Read full review »

If you want to listen to some guy reading stuff off his PC this is the show for you. You get a lot of extended pauses while I assume he rereads it because he doesn’t understand what it’s saying (or googling it). Used to be a good podcast but now it’s just boring and repetitive.

I can’t even make it through the first episode…

I just found this one… which is odd to me because I feel like I listen to a lot of podcasts, but I am so impressed. Very thorough.

I love the deep dives and all the information. Keep up the great work.

I love crime podcasts, but I really love to hear ALL of the story! Glossing over the facts just isn’t enough. How are we to learn from the past if we don’t know the entire story? Thank you for doing what you do, it’s important, it matters, and it sheds light on the corrupt and the secrets and lies.
JJLynn303 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/10/24
I used to love this podcast but the Delphi coverage has given me major ICK vibes. Bob has done everything he can to make himself a part of the defense team and it’s bringing out the worst in him. Please stop using the Hashtag the family made to defend Richard. He may or may not be guilty but Bob...Read full review »

Updated. Delphi shows who you really are and it’s not good. You’ve changed. And not in a good way. I have only listened to the Vallow Daybell coverage and it’s great. I thought Bob talked over Allison too in the beginning and was annoyed but it did get better. And I appreciate the explanation...Read full review »

Hey look, I don’t judge podcasters for having their opinions. They aren’t journalists after all. However, host just spent several mins of the S5E1 railing on social media folks for publishing information on this case. HIS NEXT STATEMENT is how he’s so virtuous that he won’t name the suspect and...Read full review »

Absolutely obsessed with this podcast!! Found out about it from listening to Proof. I heard about your podcast on the Truth and Justice episode you were recently on. I am RIVETED on SEASON 1 right now. I grew up in Chicago in the school district (Taft HS) where Gacy lived. Moments of levity, Alison’s grace and deep deep dives. Love it all

The podcasters seem to have reviewed the cases very well. I enjoy the hint of sarcasm that gives the topic a little levity during some heavy topics.

3rd best pod on the planet. Just behind truth and justice. But quite a ways behind the best pod on earth, The brilliantly dumb pod. lol. Really enjoying this pod. S1 was a wild ride. And S2 is great so far. Thanks Motta.

I love everything about this show. As a criminal justice grad student I’m always looking for reputable sources. Mad shout out to this incredible team & first hand perspectives that tell stories we all know in whole new way. Thank you for the deep dive & exposure. This story needs to be told.

In the many times I’ve visited the Omaha area, I’ve never heard the residents speak with the heavy southern accent that Bob narrates in. Not even a little bit…. Is he trying to make them sound unsophisticated?
Ootthecat via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/27/24
I started listening specifically to follow the Avery case. Each episode is a deeeeep dive in to the police and court records. Although it is detailed, there is a feel that they are making up the podcast as they go. Which is no bad thing. It is pleasant enough to listen to the hosts thinking...Read full review »

This is the worst podcast if your following the Delphi case. The host actually called the prosecuting attorney a “Twerp” Really? Thats how you talk about someone that’s just doing his job? You can find more credible coverage elsewhere
Me-Shell K James via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/25/24
I’m a Wisconsin resident and very familiar with the case. I suggest all listeners also listen to Rebutting a Murderer. Dan O’Donnell is Lawyer and Radio Host who covered the original court hearing in person. He says a lot of information from the hearing is not mentioned in the Netflix Show.

Did you guys quit the Steven Avery coverage? I was really enjoying it but it’s been months now since you’ve made an episode about the case

Just binged the Vallow season after looking for more Vallow content as I can't stop thinking about that case. I’m not true crime junkie, & I don’t listen to a lot of podcast because I usually don’t like them. This one is very informative because they are defense attorneys themselves, and just enjoyable people to listen to.

I love how they talk about individual cases. They are doing very well with showing their thinking as they go through. I love it. I am not a lawyer but I love the way they discuss case law and their opinion on how cases are going or were tried.

Listening to season 2. I'm 33 episodes in and I figured there must be no real evidence against Anthony Garcia, with as extensively as the pod focuses on other suspects.
