Saved the sanity of my loved ones

I’m a first time desperate housewives watcher. I was in high school during the first run and would have rather died than watch a show my parents watched. I put it on a few months back not expecting much, and wow was I wrong. I flew through all 8 seasons like they were a wall in a Jeff Melman episode.

Anyway, after the show ended I wanted to discuss everything with everyone. But, rudely, most people didn’t remember much about the lives of the ladies on the lane. That didn’t stop me from trying to forcefully discuss the sodies with my friends and family (until they set up boundaries like king Parker).

Luckily I found Ned and McKenzie’s podcast! The same questions I had while watching like “can Susan actually draw?” And “Is anyone going to arrest gabby for statutory rape?” were validated. It is not a show to watch alone. I might need to buy Mackenzie’s season one companion book.

They are both hilarious and I’m not sure what it says about me, but I love liking and hating the same characters as these two strangers I’ve come to admire. Some rewatch pods are boring or tedious, this is not the case here. I’m so happy I found this podcast to detox me out my DH binge in a more humane way. Thank you Ned and McKenzie!

A must listen for all the nostalgic 2000’s tv besties!

I’ve been listening to this podcast for two years now and I look forward to the new eppies every time! No joke, they have been in my wrapped top spot for podcasts two years in a row now!

Ned and Mckenzie are the sweetest, funniest, and most down-to-earth podcasters I’ve listened to. They are not afraid to be silly and make every episode funny without much effort and I truly laugh along every time. In terms of the DH content, it’s great! They make an effort to make the content’s episode fun and lqbtq positive/ quirky (regardless of the older DH episode indends to mention LGBTQ topics or not). These two put their own spin on things and run with it! DH is one of my favorite shows and I feel like I don’t have many to share that weird 2000’s niche interest with but, Ned and McKenzie get it and I am so fortunate to found this podcast and love It as much as I do!

When a new eppie comes out or I just need something to listen to when I’m not having a good day, this is my go-to always!

It’s been amazing to watch this podcast grow and I am proud to be an active supporter of this show. If you even remotely like Desperate Housewives at all or just need a podcast that is funny, bright, and entertaining- this is the one for you!!

Happy streaming! <3
