With the technology, the ability to do that from anywhere is incredible. The world is, in many ways, easier than ever to do this. But the obstacles are sincere or very large, which would be the traditional pushback. If you are thinking about turning into a kind of digital nomad lifestyle from a corporate, I think the long-term plan is important: to test the waters. So find out what you can and cannot get away with. My one bit of advice is that do not do it on your own; there are a ton of cool services out there to be able to leverage, it's going to cost money, but that money actually ends up saving a hell of a lot more down the road, when things tend to go wrong.
