What sets this pod apart from the usual true crime podcast is the focus on the inspirational, very vulnerable character of Detective Trapp. It’s so interesting to take a look into the psyche of the interrogator and find out a bit of why they are so brilliant. Also, I feel like this podcast is...Read full review »

I got hooked in episode one, when Detective Trapp describes her work philosophy to some grade school students. Her mix of compassion and a dedication that borders on obsession that she brings to cases is awe- inspiring. Goffard and his producers achieve the right mix of backstory and suspense in...Read full review »

Detective Trapp was an incredible listen. Detective Trapp never forgot about the girls involved, never gave up for their families. She truly showed her compassion through the care she showed the girls. They aren’t just names to her, they belonged to families. Even though the lost girls never came...Read full review »

This podcast gave me true goosebumps. I was riveted from the beginning. It got me thru some difficult commutes and Dr’s appointments. I was bummed when it ended. I’d love another featuring Det Trapp. She’s a real life Det Olivia Benson and I’d listen to her cases again gladly.

Good all round podcast. My only gripe being that Detective Trapp seems to forget that people have fathers too

She’s just fabulous and highlights all of the amazing skills women can bring into traditionally male dominated professions. My heart goes out to the families and I am so grateful Detective Trapp was there to support them and to solve these heinous crimes. To her I say, “ Carry on, but take care...Read full review »

I’m sorry but this bunch is pretty unexciting and full of seemingly incompetence. This is such a great podcast but to play 4 ads within the first 5 mins is not worth listening too. They are the same ads over and over again and by the time I’ve listened to 20 mins, I have listened to 5 mins worth of ads.

Detective Trapp. Thank you. You were destined to be a mother. You are. You are doing hard work. Thankless work. Work that takes meticulous time, patience and skill. You are taking care of us all. I couldn't care less that this woman couldn't get pregnant. The irony is that after working in homicide, and her parents having THIRTY siblings between them, she still wants to bring more people into this world. Foster a dead hooker's baby and then maybe this story is compelling.Read full review »
