Mental health in many African homes is a
silent killer.

A report from World Health Organization says, that across the African Region, more than 116 million people
were already estimated to be living with mental health conditions pre-COVID-19 pandemic.

Obesity is a great problem in Denmark. More and
more Danes reach a BMI greater than 25, which categorizes them as obese. When I
came to Lagos I expected to see a completely different world.

My first thoughts were, that I didn’t see as
many obese people here in Lagos as I would back in Denmark. But after doing
some research on the topic, I’ve come to realize that obesity might be a
problem here in Nigeria, as it’s in Denmark.

Data from WHO (World Health Organization)
concludes that an obesity epidemic has hit Nigeria. And the data shows that
especially the Nigerians living in urban areas suffer from more obesity, than
the Nigerians that live in the countryside.
