Xavier Scruggs joins the guys on Diggin’ Deep! The former Marlin and Cardinal shares his journey from 19th round pick to the big leagues. X had the priviledge of playing with legends of the game like Ichiro and Yadier Molina, and even had Barry Bonds as his hitting coach when he was with the Marlins. Xavier relives some of those stories and talks about what his biggest takeaways were from spending time with those legends. When Xavier left the MLB after the 2016 season, he went to play overseas in Korea. X moved to Korea with his wife and they had their son while he they were out there. He takes us through what it was like balancing family life in a foreign country, while also trying to perform to the best of his ability somewhere unfamiliar to him.
