“This story is so tragic on a thousand levels. The main problem is that I know, you know, everyone knows women that are this stupid in matters of the heart! But like so many of other listeners, the icky thing about this podcast is Debra’s crazy mother who recounts her daughter’s horrific murder as if she’s remembering a sweet anecdote from years past. She sure set a great example of how NOT to be an advocate for her kids by her professed “love for Billy”. Ugh. I’ve lost a child (not murdered) and I’ll never be able to talk about it openly, much less with such glibness. Oh, and I’m a Christian-thanks Arlene for painting all of us with your crazy brush....”
