“So let me get this straight: your well-established laziness for simply uploading the Christopher Crutchfield narrated “Disappeared” episodes each week finally becomes so overwhelming that you change the name of the show, change the narrator and case focus, and still keep the years of 5-star ratings that literally have NOTHING to do with the current format and host? How is this even allowed??
Pam Childs seems like a great narrator, and her show deserves a chance. But what you’ve done here is dishonest and unethical. You’ve been completely disrespectful to the ORIGINAL “Disappeared” series on ID—first by neglecting to post new episodes for months at a time, next ng posting “encore” episodes (aka, “repeats” for episodes we’ve already heard rather than put out new material), and now by this cheap ratings manipulation ploy. It’s a disservice to the “Disappeared” listening audience, but much more importantly, it’s a disservice to the families and friends of missing people. What an absolute embarrassment.”
