This one star will turn into 5 when you do some Aussie pub rock. AC/DC, The Angels, Rose Tattoo. And get some Aussie punk like the Cosmic Psychos Looking forward to giving you the 5 stars you deserve

It feels good to listen to people have in depth discussions about some of my favorite bands from the past and present. This podcast is the one I’ve been looking for for a long time and I’m glad to have discovered it last year. Thank you guys for all that you do. Can’t wait for that Botch Episode...Read full review »

Because of your guys podcast, I got into It's All Crazy! It's All False! It's All a Dream! It's Alright, and really love the song the fox, the crow and the cookie. Had my mother over and I was playing the fox, the crow and the cookie out loud and she had a weird look on her face...Read full review »

I asked for this about a year ago (yeah I know, along with so many others) and was not disappointed. Not my favourite metal band, but one I can put on and almost always be satisfied. I was very curious as to your views, so thank you for giving them. Oh yeah, this podcast is very, very...Read full review »

I found this podcast because I’m the .001% of the type of person who searches Fear before the March of flames on this thing. Bravo 👏 these dudes know their stuff.

I discovered this podcast in the early days of the pandemic last year. I’d like to credit Joe, Jeff, Josh, Jon, Dan and other contributors for helping revitalize my passion for metal. Thanks for helping me discover new metal artists and always providing a healthy dose of good banter and fun. My...Read full review »

Thanks for sharing. Great content. Please do a Flotz, Overkill and Blindside episode. The attention to detail and intricate knowledge is great to hear. Thx!

I first discovered this podcast just as a way to kill a subway ride when I found a review on one of my favorite bands alestom. Ever since I’ve been so invested. Dan and Joe know how to turn a podcast into a welcoming community of metal heads! They have a discord and Patreon which allows me to...Read full review »

Dan and Joe truly capture an interesting concept of covering each band by their discography. While Dan holds down the historical side of the bands and is the most relatable meathead, while Joe is the anchor to keep the conversation on track. Both hosts have always kept it 100% real and all of...Read full review »

Great show with great production! When I started listening to podcasts a few years back, I started with this show. I didn’t realize what a terrible choice it was to do so at the time. I’ve tried to listen to a number of other podcasts since then and few align with my interest and have the...Read full review »

These guys say some of the dumbest things about music that I’ve ever heard. So much so that I want to believe this is complete trolling but I don’t think it is. I think this is just a group of musically ridiculous hipsters with bizarre opinions. Avoid.

Discovering new bands (Atomship) and new albums from bands I already dig that I may have skipped over throughout the years (Soul Embraced: For the Incomplete most recently). You’re wrong about Constellations by ABR but otherwise great insights. Love Vito Ps it’s been two hundred something...Read full review »

I’ve gotten into a lot more bands I had heard of but never listened to due to this podcast. It’s also great for hearing more in-depth about bands you may not have cared much about. At a minimum, the bands tend to be made more interesting after listening to the episodes. These are worth your time...Read full review »

These guys dig some great bands. Even those “underground” and underrated bands that made the best music to date. Love listening and always waiting for more.
T-Doom via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 05/30/20
Love this podcast! They cover so many underground metal bands that I love as well as do a great job breaking down mainstream bands. They have caused me to relisten to many bands that I have ignored in the past! Keep it up!

Conversations about mainly metal bands’ discographies, with lots of laughs and sometimes little sidetracks. If you like metal, then you have no excuse - go give it a listen.

If two metal bands faced off in a Super Bowl, I would want you guys to be the play-by-play commentators.

Rad
It’s just rad. I really like that these guys know a lot of nifty history on some of my favorite bands. Very neat outlooks on some of my favorite bands like Norma Jean, Converge and ETID.
Burrit0Bandit0 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/23/20
Very good podcast. I feel like I’m listening to multiples of me talking about a band. Maybe incorporate some discussion on a band’s live performance (if you’ve seen them). Edit: As I Lay Dying episode was miserable to get through. Since then, you guys have improved pacing and staying on topic.
Benny Peabody via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/22/20
Very pessimistic views on every episode I’ve listened to. There is very obviously a huge lack of research done on any of these bands. For example, Glassjaw.... missed Coloring Book. Way too worried about lyrical content on albums also.
Beefamous via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 12/15/19
I’m loving this podcast. It has turned me on to a bunch of great bands I never would have heard otherwise. If I had one complaint it would be the way Joe pronounces djent. It kind of drives me nuts. I’m willing to look past it though. Keep up the great work guys!

Just found this podcast today when I was listening to the brewtally speaking podcast. I couldn’t be anymore happy with this gem of a podcast. Funny guys talking about amazing music what’s not to love. Keep doing what you’re doing. Five stars. P.S. I did this entire review in Ryan Clark’s voice.
