Ludicrous amount of ads for other BBC podcasts. And some have become infuriating - if “Dear daughter”cannot hold an audience without being pushed perpetually in unrelated podcasts maybe … I’m giving-up on this as despite being in UK, despite paying BBC license fee I’m getting too many ads and...Read full review »

Nature’s way of controlling over breeding which is the primary cause of the decimation of the earth. Its a great sign. No harm no foul.

Adam Rutherford speaks slowly and clearly, as does Roland Pease, and I can follow and understand their explanations of difficult scientific subjects although I had zero scientific education. There are presenters of “cultural” programmes who gabble and interrupt the interviewees, eg Samira Ahmed,...Read full review »

Shame on you for having Qanon commercials on your platform. They are a horrible conspiracy group spreading hate and fear and foolishness. Shame on you

For me, I love the tone of this series of episodes. Great information put forward by folks who are obviously well educated on the topics, and who are serious people but the show doesn’t feel overly serious - feels fun and informative but doesn’t make ya feel preached at or lectured too. Kudos to...Read full review »

Perhaps you will come back someday soon and do a documentary on tbe Ariane 5 rocket itself. There is another brilliant story to share with the public. Ch...Read full review »

My problem is the background sound track detracted from my listening experience. Maybe next Time have it softer so I can concentrate on the content without struggling to hear it. Thanks.

Listened hoping to learn more about COVID19. Unfortunately, the majority of the episode was leftist ranting from Lisa Cooper of Johns Hopkins University in the U.S. and others about the usual socialist perceived ills in society. I used to like this show a lot but got quite disappointed recently when it talks about the covid situation in Asia. The “experts” don’t seem to know enough detail but were still confidently commenting about the situation in Asia. For example, no one calls a lockdown a “circuit breaker” other than...Read full review »

This is a really helpful episode. I am going through a re diagnosis of breast cancer with my sister. She and I have struggled with the lack of autonomy on far too many occasions. I am now more aware of why we are struggling with this.

I found most of the series Discovery of great interest. It goes to great effort to get details across. The microbiome of course is a relative new and exciting area of research.
