Found the podcast from Jake’s book DISGRACELAND
I was late to the party, but I’ve been listening for a few years now, and I’m obviously hooked. What a gift to go back to Episode 1 on Jerry Lee Lewis with its re-release. It’s one of the most disgraceful rock-n-roll stories out there that even this Mississippi 50-something-girl didn’t know. I saw him perform in the 1980’s in Meridian, MS, for their annual Jimmie Rodgers Festival. He was an amazing performer. But I never heard these stories. Jake’s passion for storytelling is evident from the first episode. He gets more polished with each episode as he develops his style and skills and adds other writers and researchers. But there’s a raw talent and passion in episode 1 that pulls you in for episode 2, 3, and on… This show is one where you may or many not be interested in a particular artist profiled in an episode, but you will find yourself listening anyway to hear the story.

Ive heard so many crime podcasts, but this concept of the societal leanancy towards rockers and their crimes is awesome. One of the most interesting and well scored podcasts ideas Ive seen in a while. Cant wait to listen!!!
