Cool show, not all true
I love listening to this podcast, especially since I've been cov19 housebound. HOWEVER, I would take some of the gritty details with a grain of salt. Not sure where the writers get their info from but fact checking is not their strong suit. For example: the Rick James episode....as crazy and entertaining as it sounds, Evan Dando of the Lemonheads was NOT at the studio the night of the riots in LA, he was not with Rick James that day at all, did not shoot a gun off the roof. WTH lol When asked about this by a mutual friend (after we listened with surprise at this twisted tale) Evan said this, via text message: "Never happened. Absolute twaddle. I wasn't on any roof with Rick James. The day of the riots I was at Johnny Depp's house." Yes, Evan said "twaddle". I get that you all want to keep it spicy, but make sure it's accurate.Read full review »
