Music filler. And… It’s insane how many ads. I get you can fast forward, but such a waste of time and an annoyance that detracts from story. All of their podcasts are like this. Their advertisers should be upset everyone fast forwards and doesn’t even hear their ads because the amount is...Read full review »

Okay some music makes sense. But yeah country music for like 30 seconds is not what a podcast needs.

Loved this podcast! Fun, nostalgic, informative, funny, entertaining. This was a wonderful peek through a window of a psychedelic world long gone.

Rainbow’s voice us annoying but the story is fascinating. Really enjoyed. Loved the theme song!

Unfortunately tonedeaf. I would urge the narrator to do some research about how marijuana has been a driver of mass criminalization and how this disproportionately affects Black and Brown people. This could be an opportunity to educate their listeners and themselves about the racial politics of...Read full review »

The host’s voice sounds like a little kid. Also interesting that she identifies someone else as Jewish, but her own grandparents as Holocaust survivors and from Russia, but not the obvious Jewish connection. That was a unique time that wasn’t explained.

Love her stories - to hear it from the child’s viewpoint is a new take. Thank you for your experience-

Great stories but very very difficult to listen to the narrator I feel like she’s changing her voice to make her self sound younger plus the tone of her narration is grating to my intelligence But I love the parents and the characters so I can withstand the narrator

I guess if I binge listened to this podcast, it should get 5 stars. I was in Jr. High in Santa Barbara in the early 70s. It seemed that every other Friday afternoon in Grade 9, we had an ambulance at school for an overdose - probably not the truth, but it felt that way. There was a lot going...Read full review »

Would love a 2nd season about Taffy’s life in San Fran, both pre and post Walter. Love Taffy and Walter! xx

This a fun, easy to listen to, and hilarious podcast. A little disorganised as the podcast episode titles do not reveal the order. It is not clear when one season ends and one begins. Other than that—very minor—thing, everyone should give it a go!

My first impression was that I wouldn't make it past the first 2 episodes but strangley enough I just kept listening. I found myself looking forward to the next episode and next thing I knew, I had finished the entire podcast. Give it a chance! Love the theme music - I find myself singing it...Read full review »

I pictured you and your parents sitting around the kitchen table with coffee and treats. So fun. Rainbow I thought your parents were a little out there naming you. Until you told us you made it up. Great podcast. Thank you. Make sure you use Rainbow for the next podcast. I’ll be looking for you.😄

Two narrators use the word “like” every single sentence. Need to improve the quality of the speakers vocabulary.

I got 10 mins into ep 2 before giving up on this. A podcast is only as good as its narrator and unfortunately I found this one unbearable to listen to. It’s a shame and is a personal thing so hopefully others can enjoy it more than me.

I think Rainbow is articulate, funny and tells an excellent story of a time I wish I was alive in to experience. It’s fun, down to earth and honestly told. I enjoyed every episode and had many laughs. Thanks Rainbow Valentine!

It should be a movie. And, if you are thinking about it put on Netflix. You did such a great job in braking down everything that happened. Eh
I heart radio gives so many people podcasts without actually guiding them on how to make it a good podcast. This is all over the place. The host thinks everything is so cool, but doesn’t really go into real detail. this could very easily just be a made up story the way it’s told. I can’t get past...Read full review »
