Podcasting’s Pissarro
I’m no art historian, but If podcasts were paintings, Richard Parks would be their Pissarro. Since RFFP, Parks III has dotted our auditory canvas with a diversity of elements (sound, syntax, source materials…) which, from any distance, create a fanta-scinating framework. A notorious nomad, I started listening to DBD in Tbilisi, continued in Istanbul, and am catching up in the mountains of Montana. It’s podcasting par excellence. Bravo!

Richard Parks is such a compelling, creative, and fun podcaster, that he somehow got me interested in baseball and the Dodgers! Highly recommended for fans of sports or fans of terrific storytelling!

This show is like ear candy — wonderful to listen to - and full of deceptively deep analysis. Fun to hear - and much to look forward to, with every new episode.

Richard has always crafted quirky, clever, and compelling podcast vignettes. RFFP is an absolute gem in the podcast world and this exploration of the Dodgers brings the same energy and joy of Richard‘s special storytelling that has made me care about baseball in a way I never have before.
