“I love Jad on Radio Lab so I was willing to give this a listen. I’ve never been a Dolly fan, but appreciate classic country music. Going in expecting a straightforward interview/biography podcast, this turned out to be very well rounded approach to her life, art, and the world she has lived in. I have especially appreciated the time spent covering the musicology behind her work.
I’m looking forward to the rest of the season and have already recommended it to several friends (who are major Dolly fans).”
