Loved Dolly, host and producer not so much
Dolly is an iconic, interesting class act. The program should have been tightened up and reduced to fewer episodes to focus on Dolly’s story. There were too many tangents focused on the host (why do I care?) and then grilling Dolly on politics. We get it, you’re in the media so you have to be liberal and condescending. Meanwhile Dolly is not allowed to be a humanist that welcomes all types, a true feminist hero.

Oh my gosh this is so amazing! I love Dolly so much. I’m an opera singer who was raised by a country/bluegrass singer and guitar player. Like Dolly, he also grew up in a one room log cabin with many siblings. Every time Dolly was on Johnny Carson my Dad would say “Don’t listen to those boob jokes...Read full review »
