“I have called into this podcast twice, and both times the hosts disagreed with me and told me I was wrong. Which at first it is jarring, because most people write in hoping to be agreed with and told how right they are. But I never knew how much I needed an outsider to look at my situation and tell me who I really was in the situation. Both of these ladies humanize not only you but everyone in the situation, they helped me to see from a perspective I never would have. So no, they have never sided with me and told me how much of a smart girl boss I was, but I can get that advice from any of my close friends. Sometimes you need someone to tell you you’re a big jerk in order to be a better person. They are not about making their fan base happy and agreeing with the callers, they are about making you into a better person. And I love that.”
