Customer Reviews
Really great podcast, and feels like talking with my friends about games.
Being a teenager in the 80’s and 90’s, and growing up playing DOS games in the 90’s, hearing people talk about a lot of games I used to play, and haven’t played is really a lot a fun.
These are really friendly guys, and they spend a lot of time talking about all aspects of the games they play. Definitely worth a listen if you grew up playing DOS games in the 80’s and 90’s.
The robots have arrived.
Tijnbot and Autoflorian are incredible. They get straight to the point. The David Fox interview was very good. I just wish he was interviewed by, that’s right, Tijnbot and Autoflorian.
My Favorite Retro Gaming Podcast
This has quickly become my favorite retro gaming podcast thanks to the charming hosts that facilitate great discussions. It’s essentially a book club, but for DOS games! Their light hearted banter is fun to listen to, but they also take things seriously enough and their genuine interest in the subject matter is infectious.
I also appreciate that they analyze the games both in terms of their legacy, and how they hold up (or not) from a modern perspective. They tend to dive deep into the history behind the games and the developers that created them, giving us a glimpse into how these games came to be. Highly recommended!
