“For a large portion of my life , including my Christian faith, I felt the Torah was a boring burden. The old testament was something that was just not interesting and mostly lame war stories, bad poems, and lots of numbers. But in the last two years I’ve really realized just how amazing written and beautiful it is. The tropes and patterns developed that echoes for thousands of years throughout the rest of the Bible is son incredible to me and this podcast has been a great introduction into many of those things and if you dig into the notes you can really grow in Wilson not only by learning the stories but knowing how to better apply them to your life. This podcast has helped my faith and Douglas Jacoby has been instrumental in my faith and he is one of my favorite theologians to listen to and study from.”
