“I don’t understand why there hasn’t been an official Downton podcast until now?? 11.5 years after the first series went out! As a mega-fan, of course I love this, and if the first two episodes are anything to go by, the rest of the series is going to be excellent. The US presenter in no way detracts from any part of the Downton - she sounds like a deeply dedicated fan of Downton, talking intelligently and knowledgeably about all characters (be they upstairs or downstairs) the plots and hearing her own view is interesting and challenging. And like Cora, she has taken the plunge and indulged herself in the Britishness of Downton Abbey.”
