“Sam’s a genius and downright mesmerizing to listen to. I consider myself an all right limited player; not insanely competitive but I like to feel like I know what I’m doing. I’ve listened to Limited Resources for years (and more recently Lords of Limited), and I have to say Sam’s podcast has felt new and educational and is making me think about the game in ways I haven’t before. I think the podcast is deceptively instructive; while Sam gives great deep dives on specific archetypes in a format, those dives are often informed by thoughtful reflection on more core principles and interactions within the game of Magic. Listening to him discuss how one specific deck works has repeatedly caused me to have a deeper realization about playing Magic generally. Highly recommended.”
