Welcome back to "In The Moment"with Alex Manzi... and yes, as you've read in the title I have in fact spent about 50.000 pounds (about 60.000 in US dollars) in self development in the last 3 years, and in this episode I'm going to tell you all about it. What I Learned From Interviewing 100+ Artists - Ep. 288
What I Learned From Interviewing 100+ Artists. Welcome to In The Moment with me, Alex Manzi, your friendly neighborhood mind sherpa. This is a special episode of the podcast for me. We're closing soon on 300 episode and I wanted to reflect an all the interviews that I made from 2017 until now. I've interviewed for this pod (that was initially called "The Dreamers' Disease") 100+ artists and creatives and I learned a lot from it. I've had known musicians like Wretch 32, Gabrielle Aplin, Sinead Harnett, Tom Grennan, Sam Tompkins. We've talked about depression, adhd, mindfulness routines, what we pass on to our sons. I've talked to the famous podcaster Dr. Rangan Chatterjee and he remembered the pain of losing his father and how that changed his life. I've even had the pleasure to speak even to Jerome Flynn, which famously portrayed Bronn in the TV show Game Of Thrones, and with him we had a deep chat about acting, art and the struggle of many people living in today's world. I feel grateful to have had all these amazing interviews here. In this episode I try to recap everything I learned from it.

The TRUTH Behind Extraordinary Results. Hello dear listeners, welcome to another episode of In The Moment with Alex Manzi! I'm your friendly neighborhood mind sherpa. I was thinking recently that... most people see some extraordinary results, achievements, and think that they're something supernatural. Out of this world. In fact, extraordinary. I had the same feeling with a friend of mine that recently ran a marathon. To me it seemed impossible. But... is it true? Because I've found out... these extraordinary results are often a result of... very ordinary actions, repeated consistently. Let me explain.

WAITING VS CREATING: How Embracing Action Has Changed My Life - Ep. 286
WAITING VS CREATING: How Embracing Action Has Changed My Life. There's a substantial difference between living while waiting and living with creating. I spent many years of my life waiting. Waiting for something to happen, for my business to grow, for myself to change in someone better. And I was frustrated. Then I understood how creating, action, that is the key to actually changing your life. In this video I'll address different real life examples of what I mean by that.

From Burnout To Breakthrough: The Power Of Taking A Break. Are you sure you're taking the quality Time Out that you need? I, for one, was convinced that was resting when actually... what happened was: I was spending all my free time thinking about the tasks I needed to do during my Time In. But we need real rest to achieve what we want. Maybe, sometimes, it's as easy as deciding to take a nap, and listen to our inner wisdom...

We are blessed
There’s so much bad coming out of technology now, but it’s not the technology. It’s us. When humans get ahold of a new thing, idea, invention, innovation, you can bet human nature shows its ugly, criminal, devious side.
But, Alex, your podcasts THROUGH THIS ‘new” media have been a blessing. You are in the right profession. You model how conversations can go in order to affect change. You listen and respond so appropriately. Tom Brennan’s podcast started out like many other conversations he probably has had, but then veered into personal, but safe territory, so that you and Tom, especially as males, were able to express realizations. It’s interesting when a person finally expresses what they are feeling and evaluates aloud where they’ve been, how they’ve been , and then actually takes time to ponder what changes could be tried in their life, it’s like a commitment to oneself, to try. The words are out there now. They were said aloud and you heard yourself think aloud. It adds another dimension to thinking.
Alex, you are a wonderful facilitator. And you must rejoice each day realizing how much YOU have learned and grown from
being a part of those conversations! Just think what a fortunate man you are to be able to move forward every day connecting to others and reconnecting each day to yourself.
You’re not a god, but you are a wonderful example of what we humans can be if we follow your path to clarity. I can’t wait to get your book!
