“As a newcomer to the Intercooler I have only recently started listening (and very much enjoying) your podcasts. Having said that I am astounded that any petrolhead -let alone one so clearly enthusiastic and knowledgeable - can confess to never having watched the Le Mans and Grand Prix films. Perhaps it’s just my age showing, but seriously?... Also, a point of pedantry (or perhaps just me being an old editor), Fon de Portago was not “some Italian count”, he was a Spanish marquess, and the reason he spoke English like an American was that his mother was an American. Anyway, love the podcasts, keep them coming”
