Adds to the silliness of The Archers
I started listening to the Archers ironically because I thought it was terrible, but then I gradually got hooked. The fact that nothing much happens is really comforting. The only thing I was missing was someone to discuss it with. Very pleased I discovered this podcast – it really adds to the pleasure of listening. Lots of funny observations, and actually a lovely little community of fellow listeners. I’m plucking up the courage to call in myself. Edit, May 2020: I still haven’t called in but just wanted to say thank you for all the wonderful extra episodes, particularly Lucy’s fiction episodes, because they are so wonderfully comforting and cheering and funny. Thanks for being the kind, silly voices I need right now.

I agree with other reviewers that you must be very careful when listening to this podcast, as laughing out loud occurs without warning. Brilliant work and adds more enjoyment to the Ambridge experience.

I don't actually watch The Archers but this show makes me want to give it a try. The interplay between the presenters is amazing and it's expertly produced. If you're interested in the inner workings of the Ambridge community then give this bad boy a try!Read full review »
