As chaos erupts following Diana's execution of Caydwyn, the group realizes they need to escape the palace of Ro and end up getting separated in the process.

The group decides to go shopping to stock up for their journey to Cantharus and then make their way into the woods of Soli as they travel toward the border town of Simiral.

Recovering from their fight with the corrupted spiders and the enormous spider, the group decides to camp out for the night, but they are not alone in the woods and someone or something is following them.

Glugtar, Xavros, and Mauldin find themselves imprisoned in Ro and need to break free in order to rescue Diana Fyre and Caydwyn upon learning that one of them will be executed for being a traitor in the Season 2 premiere.

Now facing a dragon and the powerful bard Leandra, the group continues their attempt to escape their imprisonment in Ro. Will they be able to escape or will they be recaptured? 

The group's sleep is interrupted by a bizarre and bloody disturbance at the inn in Simiral.
