“A real W O W to those comments that telling the stories of non-white people is somehow the same as “the woke agenda” or “making everything about racism.” If you can’t handle any perspective that isn’t your own, for whatever dumb reason that may be, this podcast isn’t for you. But if you enjoy good story telling, then I highly recommend it (even if you don’t know a single word of French). If you are in it for the French listening exposure, I wouldn’t recommend this as a casual listening podcast. I treat each one as a study session and really focus my attention on the French speaking parts. I by no means understand everything, but I am sometimes surprised by how much I do pick up. I’m really glad this exists!!”
