“The stories are interesting and the dialogue is at the intermediate level so easy to follow, especially with the narrator chiming in to provide context in English. Some topics seem to lean to the left such as a winemaker who rebels against modern farming methods and a small farmer who decides to shelter migrants who are crossing into France illegally. It seems to me that there’s so much French culture, cuisine, history, travel, and nature to know that divisive topics could be easily avoided. More podcasts such as “The Best Baguette” in France would be welcome. Other than this, a well made podcast.”
