Excellent translation of a great original - highly recommended!
Dr. J. Vernon McGee’s original broadcasts in English have been very meaningful to me over the years, and this German translation captures both the essence of his Biblical teaching as well as Dr. McGee’s “down home” or plain-spoken style - to the extent of using his original anecdotes. The German reader also captures Dr. McGee’s personal warmth, using a clear but conversational tone that draws the listener into the topic.
Sound quality is excellent and the speaker enunciates well. As a nonnative speaker of German, I appreciate that! The only quibble is the lack of intro and exit music, as found in some other language versions of Thru the Bible - this was a great part of the original show’s flavor.
