Ευχαριστώ πολύ! It’s great!!!

This is a great podcast for learners in all the early levels. It starts off easy enough to understand with about half of the Duolingo or Rosetta Stone course while still introducing new words. The speaker speaks fast enough not to bore you (she doesn’t speak to you like a child), but Greek is a very fast language, so she doesn’t speak too quickly either. It’s just right. Thank you so much!!! This is the best podcast for Greek learners around!

If you’re not far enough along yet and it sounds too fast, you can try a couple things: slow it down with the podcast app or listen to the same episode a couple of times before you get it.

Happy learning and καλή επιτυχία!

Thank you for putting out Greek language content!

Modern Greek is one of those languages where the resources for learning it on your own as an adult are limited. I was so happy to find this podcast and the corresponding PDF notebooks - they are exactly what I was looking for as a learning tool! The stories are the perfect difficulty level for where I’m at in my educational journey, and the bite-sized grammar tips/lessons in the notebooks are perfect for someone like me who has a pretty good grasp on the grammar but needs an occasional refresher. Also, I really love that the stories are read slowly first, then at regular pace. My processing speeds are not fast enough to keep up with regular paced conversation quite yet, so I find it crucial to listen to the slow and clear version first, and then I am able to follow the fast version. If only I could convince my partner and his family to say everything in a slow pace, then repeat it at normal speed!

Great way to practice Greek!

I’ve been a language teacher and learner for over 35 years, and I’m enjoying this course very much. The stories are interesting, and with the downloaded materials and study guides, I’ve really learned a lot. I hope someday there will be more than one podcast released every month. Bravo!
