“I’m 4 episodes in and eagerly awaiting the rest! Rosamund Pike, her costars, and the writers make me laugh out loud, with the show’s subtle references to today, hilarious one-liners, & compelling narrative of the efforts Edith went to to preserve her husband’s legacy, restore his health, & keep the United States government running. The show also does a good job of staying along the path of the suspected timeline of events, as I read William Hazelgrove’s book, “Madam President: The Secret Presidency of Edith Wilson” before listening and could remember the events and players discussed in the podcast from the book (his telling is a little dry and repetitive, though).”
